Thomas Vilot graduated from the University of the Arts
(Philadelphia) in 1989. "I have always been fascinated
by the fusion of art and technology," he writes.
His work is conceived, created, drawn, designed, layered, even textured on the computer screen, and is outputted by Vilot onto large-size canvas or paper. Despite his digital expertise, Vilot may be more a conventional artist than we think. His canvas prints
are often re-worked by traditional brush and oil
techniques.
