Mette Larsen was born 1954 and lives in Denmark. She is self-taught except for various courses in photo and art. She writes,
"It is a great experience for me to see my pictures displayed at MOCA. But I am not a professional artist...
"I am fascinated by all the possibilities of the digital picture.
I try to create very simple, uncomplicated and harmonious expressions which are at the same time intriguing and do not represent anything in particular,
but which remind you of something familiar. I work with a standard digital camera and I use Photoshop for further treatment.
I take photos of everything around me. Exciting motifs are almost always hiding in the photos, when I look through them in the computer."
