THE BRIGHT RAY ON WHITE CANVAS
Comments by Harshad Shah
Woburn, MA, USA
I don't want to do painting but I do...
When my mind, wisdom and ego inspire me to do.
I prepare everything as I am permitted
And it is started.....
But sometimes, I honestly tell you that I get stuck!
Before going to sleep I stopped..
I stepped down to my studio at night
My wisdom was right, my ego was bright
And then, there was a strike that my mind was right.
Carefully I set a huge canvas on the easel,
Put all the brushes and colors on the table.
It was the excellent moment that touched me,
Was verily noble...
All of sudden the expansible moment
Started to extend - till the first ray of the sun settled on my canvas
After peeping into my studio,
Through the window.
Seeing that wonderful white spot of the sunray
On my milky white canvas,
I was astonished with joy
And danced like a little boy!
I started to think about that white wondrous spot
Which had come from the sky as if from God!
Then I said, "I shall paint now?"
An unexpected voice came out from the spot,
"Wait! Do you want to paint?"
Without any effort I said, "Oh! My God!
I salute You. I want to create something like You..."
And it sound, "Like Me? Like Me?
For that you have to sacrifice your mind, wisdom and ego at my feet."
I thought: Did I really meet that was very sweet, white and bright?
And the spot sound again,
"Then you can learn the art of love through the nature
And gradually learn to love that is beyond the nature....."
Not only I, but the canvas , the studio and the whole environment was absolutely quiet.
All of sudden the clouds rushed in the sky
And from my canvas the spot of the sunray fly
Without saying me bye.
I screamed out, "Alas! "
But the sound that had touched my heart and echoed
And I cried
Gradually, on my wisdom and ego, tears started dropping
As a result, both started melting....
Being peaceful, I took my brush and dipped into it
Because I had got three great things from it:
The new vision to love,
The new reason to melt
And the new season to paint...

Art by Rena Mihailovski
"I want to present my works.
I love my camera, because the digital camera is so dynamic, and the moment of luck is very short, it's just a moment! And as a result, appearing of photo, the fact of objective reality.
"When photographer holds the camera, he saws the picture differently. The camera can't reproduce his emotions, his vision of this moment in full. Therefore, the work on the photo continues. It extends to the moment when the picture will find the mood and soul.
"It was impossible to explain why I chose this kind of creation. Just as no one can explain why the artist chose a brush and paint and not a camera. In my case, it simply happened."
